DESCRIPTION:The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) established the Industrial Sustainability\, Energy Efficiency\, and Decarbonization (ISEED) Workforce Development Collaborative to help meet the Biden-Harris Administration’s goal of a net-zero emissions economy by 2050. The ISEED Collaborative will support workforce development programs that strengthen the ability of the workforce to decarbonize the U.S. industrial sector while prioritizing American workers and preparing them for good-paying middle-class jobs.
