Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) Office Hours
Oct 23 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm UTC-5
The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) established the Industrial Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, and Decarbonization (ISEED) Workforce Development Collaborative to help meet the Biden-Harris Administration’s goal of a net-zero emissions economy by 2050. The ISEED Collaborative will support workforce development programs that strengthen the ability of the workforce to decarbonize the U.S. industrial sector while prioritizing American workers and preparing them for good-paying middle-class jobs. The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) will act as the Steering Committee for the Collaborative to help IEDO recruit, convene, manage, and support selected collaborative members.
Purpose: The Office Hours session will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the opportunity directly to DOE and ConnectWerx. ConnectWerx recommends starting an application and utilizing the Office Hours for specific clarifications on the application or submissions processes.
